Wow, our very own message board. How privileged are we!! Now what do we do with it? I have noticed some others of you signing in. We might as well get reaquainted, after all Randy went to a lot of effort to put this together for us and I might add he did a great job.

Deb,
It's very nice of you to say so, but there really wasn't much to this. It only took a few hours. It's something that I've thought about for a while. I just needed to finally look for a sight that hosts free message boards and set it up.
As far as what we do with it... my main thought was the 30th class reunion. I went to the 20th class reunion and really enjoyed it. I noticed that a lot of people were missing though. Of course, some people simply chose not to attend, or they couldn't attend. But I'm willing to bet there were some classmates out there who just didn't know anything about it. And just about everyone in the class, even those who have moved away and no longer have any direct ties back to Marshall or Michigan, still keep in touch with at least a few other classmates. So if everyone who signs up here at the BBS contacts all of the classmates they have kept in touch with, the word should get spread out there pretty far and wide. And we can do it via this cheap (free!) and efficient means of communication.

Thanks Randy for putting this up.
I haven't checked out classmates.com in years now. Any way we can get on there and spread the word about this board? Do you have to be a member there to post now?
I really wanted to come to the 20 year but it was just too much to make it. What are some thoughts about the 30 year reunion?
I sure would appreciate it if each of you could post a pic from our school days as I can't put faces to all the names. Anybody got a yearbook handy to scan? With permission of course.
Eric

Hello, Along with classmates.com I have recently logged in to MHS alumni where I have noticed more and more alumni signing on as well. I will notify our classmates there of this website. I had just been thinking the other day about dusting off my yearbook. I know I have it handy somewhere. I also thought it would be a neat idea to see which teachers are still with us and what they are up to. I would assume that information should be in our yearbook as well. I agree with you, it is difficult to put names with faces after this many years. Scanning pictures would be a good idea. We need to start brainstorming about ideas for the 30 year reunion. Deb

Anybody got a yearbook handy to scan? Consider it done! Check out the "Dial '79 (the yearbook)" section. Randy

Hi Randy...I just recently signed up because I heard about this website from Kelly Faulkner (Dinnan) on an inquiry from her on face book. If I know of anyone else to contact I will. We should make our 30th reunion the best ever. Laurie Stout (Cosgrove)
